Chopping the Tomahawk is More Than Ironic: Killing this Guided Missile is Misguided Policy

As the US sees its influence in the world fading as a result of the Obama administration’s incoherent, failed foreign policy, it can hardly afford sending further signals of decline and weakness to our allies or adversaries.  The latest example is Obama attempting to kill the Navy’s Tomahawk and Hellfire missile programs.

“Our declining naval forces, continually slated for reductions by the Obama White House, cannot afford further cuts in programs, ships and weapons systems.  Recent events demonstrate vividly the paramount importance of a strong US Navy that provides the resources for its brave men and women stationed across the globe,” noted the 3rd District Republican.
