LAVALLETTE, NJ – Yesterday afternoon, California wildfire victim Jodene Finch and her husband, Doug Finch, told third district voters the heart wrenching story of losing their home and possessions in the fire that swept through Sylmar, California in 2008.

Please take a moment to watch Jodene discuss how she, Doug, and so many other friends in her community suffered because of natural disaster and later by the slow-walking, short-changing claims process enacted by Tom MacArthur’s York company.

Tom MacArthur’s company callously turned its back on Jodene and Doug and so many other families affected by fire, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.

Sometimes York was forced to pay these claims, other times victims had to decide whether to continue their fight with York for many more years or move on with their lives and cut their losses.

This election provides third district voters a unique opportunity to avoid disaster before it strikes again by choosing not to elect Tom MacArthur to Congress.
