Sebelius Resigns (Four Years Too Late)
Steve Lonegan Responds to Secretary Sebelius’ Resignation
Lavallette, NJ – Former mayor and conservative candidate for New Jersey’s third Congressional District, Steve Lonegan, joined New Jersey voters this evening in breathing a collective sigh of relief upon hearing the news of bruised and battered Health and Human Service Secretary, Kathleen Sebelius’, resignation.
“Secretary Sebelius has wasted the better part of 4 years performing the Sisyphean task of convincing American voters that a massive, liberal, government overreach is what’s best for the country,” said Mayor Steve Lonegan. “Unfortunately, the exit of Secretary Sebelius does not undo the damage that Obamacare has inflicted on families across New Jersey and throughout the country. Repealing this disastrous bill is the only way to change this brutal reality.”
